Entryway Upgrade

In another attempt to work on the sustainability front, instead of replacing an outdated door, we cut a few holes in the old one and added some glass. For about the same price as a low end replacement, we were able to take a cheap, old door, customize it into something unique, and reduce a lot of waste. This particular door wasn’t strong enough to support the glass, so reinforcement blocks were needed to shore it up. The window frame was made from old baseboards and pieces of flooring. Two of the pictures below show what the door looked like before the upgrade.
