Swinging Sofa

This design turned out to be unexpectedly comfortable; easy to lose track of a warm afternoon in the sunshine. Made from leftover flooring, scraps of climbing rope, and a few old cushions that were lying around, it has held its shape and stood up to the weather for years. The technique used for bending the wood was done without a steamer. Just a matter of gluing together thin strips of wood into the desired form.
