These ceiling lights display geometric designs inspired by a range of everyday objects, from the camera shutter itself to a Roman monument it captures. Various mathematical arrangements of bulbs and slender columns create patterns of light on the ceiling. The contrasting maple and jatoba come, for the most part, from reclaimed sources. Two different types of maple veneer (quarter-sawn and birds-eye) only let through a warm glow. This property takes harsh light from above and gives it an ambient signature.
