Using leftovers from a fence project and a tree that was recently cut, a rotting trellis was replaced with something a bit more eye-catching. By curving the struts, the dome shape itself became ‘depixelated’ and the finger joints in the hub connectors were simplified. Electricity and a light joined in alongside the grapevine. This was a good first draft in the long road to building domes to produce food.
