The first and last major projects in the Netherlands were both branching bookshelves. The last one was much larger and much better. A newly built home on the beach was in need of a focal point. The owners were focused on sustainability and chose for reclaimed Santos mahogany. Not a single visible fastener. Two secret compartments. Butcher block construction left the face grain visible and uncompromised. Tung oil brought out the naturally deep reds found within the grain.
